Scientific advisory board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is an external advisory board to ensure the high quality of DBI2 program. It advises the Steering Committee on all aspects of the consortium, including research strategy, international competitiveness, organization, and knowledge transfer.

Prof. Maria Asplund

  • Expertise: Implantable neurotechnology, bioelectronic microsystems, bioelectrochemistry and microfluidics.
  • Organisation: Chalmers University of Technology

Maria Asplund is professor in bioelectronic microtechnology at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research includes implantable flexible neurotechnology, tissue-device interaction and electronic biomaterials.
