The research concerns the investigation of cerebellar physiology in multiple sensorimotor tasks, in human and rodent, and the functional role of the communication between the cerebellum and cortical (and subcortical) areas in the exertion of sensorimotor processes. We aim to get a deeper understanding of what is the functional role of the biological closed loop structured in the brain. We developed a novel behavioural human paradigm, and we record and manipulate the pathways involved in connecting the big and the small brain.
